Monster In The Marrow

Giant Agency came to us to create an organic structure to show the the danger of Multiple Myeloma even after treatment. The character has hints of facial features in the formation of the marrow and the cells. The details within the marrow represent the hidden danger lurking within the recesses of the marrow and although a part of the character itself, we also had to ensure that the scene was created in a medically accurate manner to speak to doctors.
We provided a limited motion element by selectively animating bits of details within the scene, adding environmental dust and providing some camera drift, resulting in an animation that feels more ethereal, emphasizing the danger that lurks within.
